Nick Evans Mowery

Nick Evans Mowery began playing guitar at the age of 12, inspired by artists such as Steely Dan, Tower of Power, Bob Dylan, Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. NEM attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and The Ohio State University majoring in music/guitar performance and business. Since 2004, NEM has produced (24) albums and released many singles. NEM music has received radio airplay in several different countries dating back to 2005. Nick's songs have been recorded by other artists (Amy Lerie, Hank Mowery, Norm McDonald).

PERFORMANCE HISTORY

Nick Evans Mowery performed in many songwriter rounds in and around Nashville from 2015-2018. These venues included The Bluebird Cafe, Bobby’s Idle Hour, The Commodore, Belcourt Taps, Smokey Mountain Songwriter’s Festival, The Renaissance Hotel, The Whiskey Room, The Sutler Saloon, Gallagher Guitars etc.

The NEM Project performed in Las Vegas, NV from 2009-2012 (House of Blues/ Mandalay Bay, BBKings/ Mirage, The Hard Rock, The Railhead, Vamp’d, The Freemont St. Experience, Diablo’s/Monte Carlo and numerous other venues) The NEM Project opened for several national touring acts including: Rod Piazza & The Mighty Flyers, John Nemeth, Walter Trout, Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights, The Miggs, Guitar Shorty...to name just a few.

Nick Evans Mowery performed at several Border’s Bookstores in the Las Vegas area in 2004 to support the release of his first album - 30 Yrs Gone.

Nick Evans Mowery was a member of the house band at Lucille’s in Covington, KY 1995-96. During the shows, the band leader would allow Nick to showcase a couple of his original songs. Aptly named, “Nick Funk!”, Nick’s music became a nightly part of the show. This lead to Nick’s band “Hangtime” performing at Lucille’s on several occasions.

Nick Evans Mowery was a member of the “Jeff Mac McCracken & the Left Hand Band” in Las Vegas/1993. They performed at The Palace Station Hotel & Casino and Moose Lodges on several occasions.

Nick Evans Mowery was a member of the band “Force 440” in 1992. Force 440 were regulars at many of the hard rock night clubs. They performed live on 92.3 KOMP twice.

Nick Evans Mowery was a member of the band “The Lost Boys” in Kingman, AZ in 1988. They performed at school dances, yearbook signings, Chadwicks nightclub, Quinceanera’s etc.
